Welcome to Lone Room Games. We are a lone developer from Northern Ireland making videogames, so ‘we’ is misleading. I heard that using *we* instead of *I* gives the impression that we are a game development studio to be feared and respected (I am probably remembering those adjectives incorrectly). So this causes us a dilemma, do I be feared and respected, or do we be honest? Let’s drop this and go with honestly from now on. Hopefully you’ll begin to fear and respect me even if I’m a solo developer. Drop the fear though, I’m actually very nice.

If you survived whatever that first paragraph was then I’m very happy because we should get along well if you can tolerate my tendency to go very off topic. I have looked at ways to streamline the way I talk, but it all felt too robotic and with AI all over the place some personality is needed, even if it’s long winded. This is primarily an Indie Game Website. Made to keep you up to date with what I am working on. I hope having a front facing hub will also encourage me to make regular Dev Diaries and other such content.

I’m a software developer first and foremost, trained in the mystic arts of code. I also have a keen interest in music and art which fits nicely with the solo developer career choice. I play guitar and piano (much to my neighbor’s delight) and draw things with pencils and other such devices.

There, that should be a nice introduction to whatever it is this website is. I am very excited to share with you all what I’ve been working on. The first game under Lone Room Games will be Five Arcade! I very much hope you enjoy it.
